Gandley, the
goose, is shunned
and bullied
by the flock
of geese
he flies with.
They say mean
things to him
and they leave
him
behind when
they fly south
for the winter.
But he learns
to lead
another flock.
When they arrive
at their destination,
the flock
that had shunned
him discover
Gandley when
they fly over
the
field where
Gandley and
his new flock
are feeding.
To their surprise,
they learn that
Gandley was
not a feather
brain after
all.
